I stopped in last week to grab a beer and order a pepperoni pizza to go. Coming from New Jersey I'm always looking for Pizza that is similar to Home. It was very busy the night I stopped in, but I was able to get a seat at the bar and the bartender was quick and attentive. I had a couple beers and she put my order in. It was ready within 20 minutes, which was great. And I have to say it was excellent. The sauce was very good, just the right amount of cheese and the pepperoni was great. Will definitely be one of the main places I get pizza from. Empire is one of our "go-to" pizza joints in South Charlotte. Food is good and consistent, with various options for everyone. I would recommend going in to order when you can, they have good lunch specials and happy hour specials. This place is always clean and everyone on the staff has always been friendly.Food-wise, we haven't had a bad experience. They don't mess up our orders, and just about anything on the menu has been good. Price is market value. I wish it was a little cheaper, but not too bad it you work it right. Beer and wine served too.If you are driving down I-77, this is a good place to stop for a family meal, use the bathrooms then hit the road agai

Stopped here for lunch one day and came back for dinner.Friendly fast service we ordered pizza  and salads first time .  Both were full salads and delicious.  Pizza was the best we have had in long time.  For dinner we ordered pasta.  They were having karaoke in the bar section. Totally a fun evening. Place was packed with. A lot of families in the dining room for early evening.  It does get loud but we were both said we were sorry we didn’t have an Empire Pizza in Florida.  Will return when we are in the area.

I had the privilege of visiting Empire tonight. The food was great, but the service was even better. My server, Brooklyn, greeted me with a bright smile and was very helpful in explaining the menu as well. She stayed very attentive and was very quick with the refills!
